Our puppies are born and raised in our home. From the moment they are born, they are handled and socialized appropriately for their age. At three days old their dew claws are removed and their tails are docked by our veterinarian according to the breed standard leaving 40% of the original length. The puppies are de-wormed at 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age. At 7 weeks of age they receive their first in a series of shots.
At seven weeks the litter is graded to determine the male and female picks of the litter. Picks of the litter are in the order of deposits received. However, competition/conformation homes will have priority for the most structurally correct puppies. Puppies can go home at 8 weeks of age. All puppies go home with a written health guarantee, shot and worming record, feeding instructions, 4 generation pedigree, micro-chip information, AKC registration application and a signed contract.
To begin the process, you should complete our puppy application. After receiving your application we will be in contact with you. A visit to our home to meet the parents is recommended. If we are comfortable with you and you are comfortable with us a deposit is then required to hold a puppy. This deposit in non-refundable unless we are unable provide a puppy to you. Please understand that individual puppies will not be promised prior to the 7 week evaluation.
Health guarantee : All puppies are 100% guaranteed from infectious disease for 7 days and for 2 years for congenital or hereditary health problems which would prevent them from living a normal active life.
After reviewing your puppy application, if we feel you are a good fit, we will contact you and invite you to come meet us and our dogs. If we are both comfortable, you may reserve a puppy by placing a deposit. A deposit may be made with cash, or check. The balance is due the day you pick up your puppy in the form of cash or a cashiers check.
